BlackBerry maker Research In Motion has reportedly announced the availability of the budget-friendly BlackBerry Curve 9320 smartphone in India.
Trusted sources informed our team, the new Curve 9320 is one of the cheapest BlackBerry 7.1 smartphones, along with Curve 9220, which has recently been announced by RIM.
Besides bringing the OS 7.1 update to BlackBerry fans, Curve 9320 also comes equipped with a dedicated BBM key, allowing for quick and easy access to messaging. In addition, the new Curve 9320 offers global 3G connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and microUSB support.
Other intuitive attributes include 512MB of ROM, 512MB of RAM and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB) along with FM radio, document viewer, music player and an integrated 3-megapixel rear camera with LED flash.
To post updates to multiple social networks, the Curve 9320 comes pre-loaded with social apps, such as Facebook and Twitter, along with the new Social Feeds 2.0 app
Commenting at the time of announcement, Sunil Dutt, Managing Director at Research In Motion India has shared his views, BlackBerry Curve series is extremely popular and successful in India and RIM is excited to bring the new BlackBerry Curve 9320 to Indian customers.
He further added, the new Curve model is designed to make it incredibly easy for customers to be socially-connected, and the company expect that the device will be especially popular in the youth segment.
However, the company has not revealed any details on availability and price, instead customers are advised to check with their carriers.
