According to latest news, Research In Motion has revealed its future roadmap and provided information about company’s upcoming products and processor's range.
The roadmap indicates that RIM is expecting to refresh its BlackBerry PlayBook tablet later this year. If reports are to be believed, the new PlayBook will have a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, an NFC (Near Field Communication) chip, and built-in 42Mbps HSPA+. Just like previous model, the next PlayBook model is likely to have a 7-inch tablet with a 1024 by 600 pixel display.
Besides the new PlayBook, RIM is also mulling to introduce a new BlackBerry Curve, a new Torch, and a new Bold smartphones.
In addition, a BlackBerry 7.1 upgrade around that time is suppose to bring a "Wireless Media Server" feature for streaming media files between BlackBerry devices.
Along with these new devices and BlackBerry 7.1 upgrade, there is one more interesting item in the roadmap which is the introduction of new BlackBerry 10 operating device. Reliable insiders informed, some significant BlackBerry 10 powered imminent devices are Blackberry Milan, Blackberry Nevada, Blackberry Forest, Blackberry London and Blackberry Lisbon.
However, detailed information about these new devices have not been disclosed by RIM, officially. However, the good news for RIM's fans of course, is the fact that they will soon get something new, something fresh and something exciting from RIM’s kitty very soon.
