Investors, bloggers and reviewers all seem to have turned cold shoulder to the BlackBerry devices. Still there are some few things that make BlackBerry devices unique:
Enterprise Security
BlackBerry phones have always been executive choice for their security features. Blackberry devices still allure the enterprise segment where security is a major issue of concern. The BlackBerry handsets are especially designed to operate along with RIM's BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES), which renders multitude of IT security safeguards and management features.
They are still the most-preferred brand among enterprisers for the highest level of security they offer.
New Blackberry handsets
BlackBerry has recently introduced new handsets based on its latest mobile OS, BlackBerry 7. This initiative has given consumers a break from the company’s aging handsets.
BlackBerry 10
RIM is very optimist for its upcoming operating system BlackBerry 10. Insiders informed, RIM is planning to introduce many BlackBerry 10 powered devices in coming year. Some significant devices are Blackberry Milan, Nevada, Forest, London and Lisbon.
This way, it would be too early to say anything about RIM’s fate. In fact, it can be said that RIM has the required potential to bounce back into the tech industry.
