While every other company is going for layoffs as part of cost-cutting blitz, SAP AG is planning to increase its manpower in India and China. According to a report, , the world's biggest business software developer SAP is open to acquisitions in Asia and also planning to hire more people in Indian and Chinese markets.
Stephen Watts, a senior executive in SAP has stated that the increase in hiring has come in wake of SAP’s business expansion plans in fast-growing Asia.
Further he added that the company is certainly open to acquisitions which can bring incremental innovation to customers. Presently, SAP has staff strength of 5,500 and 2,600 in India and China respectively.
