According to a latest report, a top executive at Symantec has left the company. If reports are to be beleived, April 15th would be the last working day for Ajay Goel at Symantec as Managing Director.
It is reportedly said that Ajay has decided to leave Symantec to pursue career aspirations outside of Symantec. Goel holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, and is an alumnus of Stanford Graduate School of Business.
It is worth noticing that Ajay Goel has joined the company only eighteen months ago. He was responsible for company’s business strategy development and sales operations in the Indian market. . Goel replaced Vishal Dhupar, who was India head at Symantec from 2005 to 2010.
Goel had over 25 years engineering and sales leadership experience with some of the world’s leading multinationals, including Cisco Systems, Sun Microsystems and Asea Brown Boveri.
As per trusted industry sources, a senior management executive at Symantec India would replace Goel.
However, any spokesperson from Symantec has refused to comment on the speculation.
