Seems, TCS is on a hiring binge to encourage an ambitious growth plan. According to recent reports, software giant TCS is mulling to hire gigantic 50,000 employees for the fiscal 2013.

N Chandrasekaran, CEO and MD at TCS has stated that the company is well prepared to achieve balanced growth across industries and markets it operates in fiscal 2013. In a view of good momentum, TCS is targeting to hire 50,000 people this year.

Further commenting on wage hike, Chandrasekaran stated that the company will go ahead with wage increase and employees will get a hike of 8 percent on an average depending on their grades.

Ajoy Mukherjee, Vice-President and Head (Global HR) at TCS has also shared his view on TCS’s hiring strategy, the company is hiring employees as well as trainees in the USA. He will be visiting campuses in the USA during the fall semester.

Earlier at the beginning of the year, TCS had reportedly said that it is expected to hire about 60,000 people during fiscal 2013.

It is found, the company has added 20,349 people in last quarter, which was the highest addition by TCS in any three-month period. The attrition rate during the third quarter fell to 12.8 per cent. All in all, TCS has added 70,400 professionals during 2011-12.

Seems, 2013 for IT industry is aggressive on recruitments; a good news for job seekers.
