Millions of internet users got affected by Google Talk and Twitter service outage. While the Google Talk outage started around 4pm and lasted for over four hours, Twitter's woes commenced barely minutes after Google had restored its service, yesterday.
If reports are to be believed, the latest outage was the micro-blogging service Twitter’s second widespread outage in 5 weeks. This is another blow to its reputation and reliability. It is reportedly said that the problems caused the outage of social networking website for nearly an hour.
Market watchers added, the woes at Google and Twitter affected millions of internet users across the world. Sources informed, Google Talk service was restored to normal at around 8.25 pm, while Twitter came back online around 12.30am.
However, the popular instant messaging service Google Talk and Twitter now have been restored after going offline in India and other parts of the world for hours together.
