According to a latest update, an information technology firm iGate is targeting $900 million revenues over the next five years from iTOPS (integrated Technology and Operations) business. If reports are to be believed, the US-based firm is also looking at $3 billion revenues by 2017.
It is reportedly said that iTOPS will be the key growth driver for the company in the coming years. iGate is intending to achieve faster growth with its focus on signing large deals with large firms.
As far as hiring is concerned, iGate is planning to recruit 3,000 persons this year in addition to its existing employee base of over 27,000.
According to Phaneesh Murthy, CEO at iGate, the company is earning over $1 billion revenues, presently. On the earnings point of view, Murthy stated that he wanted iGate to be the best company in the industry in five years down the line.
He further added, they are seeing increased acceptance of their outcome based model among both existing customers as well as the prospects that the company is planning to adapt. Presently, iGate is earning nearly 10 percent of its business revenues from outcomes based model.
