According to sources, Actis Technologies has taken initiative to bring gesture control solutions into the Indian boardrooms for corporate industry which is already at an emerging stage worldwide. Gesture control system is a new technology that understands and converts human gestures through mathematical algorithms into commands and functions.
It will enable gestures to move slides in a presentation, control video walls in a network operations centre (NOC), operate multiple screens in a security surveillance system, browse through screens at a lobby or digital cafeteria and maneuver screens at a Stock exchange. Actis is already in the process of completing some basic installations.
This technology is user friendly and reasonable also, it doesn’t require any hardware inputs like mouse, keyboard as it will run from the human Gestures basically originated from face or hands. The solutions provided by Actis promises low latency rate, high flexibility and customization.
Abhimanyu Gupta, Director - Actis Technologies stated that it is widely anticipated that gesture controls will eventually replace the touch screen interface. The technology already has its presence in the gaming industry, but the wide possibilities of gesture control commercially are still untapped.
