Verizon Wireless and Motorola deliver exciting new offerings

Verizon Wireless and Motorola, Inc. introduced two new handsets that will be available to Verizon Wireless customers this month – the Motorola Rapture VU30 and the MOTO VU204. Customers can also enhance their wireless experience with the new MOTOPURE H15 Universal Bluetooth Headset, available online and in Verizon Wireless Communications Stores on Wednesday.

The Motorola Rapture will be available for order today online at www.verizonwireless.com, in Verizon Wireless Communications Stores and by calling 1-800-2 JOIN IN. Both the Motorola Rapture and the MOTO VU204 will be available for purchase in all channels on Oct. 14.

Motorola Rapture VU30
The Motorola Rapture VU30 sports a hip clamshell design with a touch-sensitive external display that allows customers to quickly capture pictures and access their music – without opening the phone. Customers can access a library of more than 5 million songs with V CAST Music with Rhapsody; purchase full songs over-the-air and download the master copy of the songs to their PCs free of digital rights management software; sync favourite tracks, albums and playlists from their PCs to their Motorola Rapture using an optional USB cable, plus use compatible Bluetooth-enabled stereo headsets or the phone's 2.5 mm headset jack to listen to music.

The phone also has a dedicated shutter button for the 2.0 megapixel camera with enhanced imaging and video capture, and audible turn-by-turn directions with VZ Navigator capabilities to locate directions, businesses and other places of interest. The expandable memory of up to 8 GB via the microSD port gives customers the ability to store their favorite songs and pictures on their phones.

MOTO VU204
MOTO VU204 meets everyday, on-the-go needs with handy features and tools from Verizon Wireless, including access to popular messaging features such as mobile IM, e-mail, and text and picture messaging. The clamshell phone captures candid moments with a VGA camera with 4x digital zoom and a dedicated camera key for easy access. The MOTO VU204 also supports stereo Bluetooth wireless technology, as well as Verizon Wireless’ Media Center and VZ Navigator service.

MOTOPURE H15
Both the Motorola Rapture and the MOTO VU204 are compatible with Motorola’s new MOTOPURE H15 Universal Bluetooth Headset. This must-have accessory features an exclusive flip design that has the best background-noise cancellation, based on independent testing of the top-selling dual-microphone Bluetooth headsets.

Pricing and Availability
The Motorola Rapture VU30 is available for $129.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and a new two-year customer agreement. The MOTO VU204 will be available for $29.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and a new two-year customer agreement. Customers can purchase the MOTOPURE H15 Universal Bluetooth Headset in stores and online beginning Oct. 8 for $99.99.
