Acer Selects Asetek to Cool New Aspire Predator Gaming PCs

Acer’s First Gaming PC Offers Outstanding Thermal Performance at Extremely Low Noise Levels.

Asetek revealed today that its popular liquid cooling solution has been incorporated into Acer Inc.’s anxiously anticipated Aspire Predator gaming PCs. Radical in design, the Predator is Acer’s first dedicated gaming PC and comes equipped with the latest technology to handle the most extreme gaming and entertainment applications.

Commenting on this update, Gary Baum, Asetek’s Senior VP of Marketing, said “Asetek extremely pleased that Acer chose Asetek as its thermal management partner for its first dedicated gaming PC. Asetek’s liquid cooling technology enables the Predator to achieve higher performance at lower noise levels than an air cooled design could ever provide.”

Asetek’s advanced liquid cooling offers significantly lower system noise while providing dramatically improved performance advantages over traditional air cooling methods. Using liquid cooling allows the CPU to run cool even under the most demanding conditions, enabling maximum overclocking a tangible end user value. Annoying fan noise is virtually eliminated creating a pleasant computing experience.
