Google is sharing knowledge about online opportunities in India by bringing its g|day events to the country. The g|day events are a global initiative from Google and will be hosted in India for the first time this year. Events will be held across the 5 major cities in India, starting with Chennai on July 19th and 20th, 2012 followed by Bangalore, Hyderabad, Delhi and Mumbai. Sunil Rao, Country Head - Outreach Programs India, Google said - g|day events are a great opportunity for business leaders, developers, IT professionals and entrepreneurs to learn about Google technologies that can help them to harness the power of the internet.
Each g|day event will have a 2 day schedule that will cater to different audiences. Day 1 will focus on businesses, marketers, publishers and content owners who want to learn more about Google products such as AdWords, AdSense, YouTube, Google+, and Google Apps to help them to improve and take advantage of their online presence.
Day 2 will be dedicated to webmasters & App developers, who want to learn more about our most popular developer products and tools - Android, Chrome, App Engine, Maps, Webmaster Tools. Google engineers will host sessions including code labs dedicated to cutting-edge web and mobile technologies.
