Datacraft, Asia Pacific's leading independent IT Solutions provider, has signed up with leading mobile network security provider AdaptiveMobile to become a Primary Partner in Asia Pacific to sell, deploy and support its portfolio of mobile security solutions across 13 countries in the region, including India, Japan and Korea.
AdaptiveMobile enables mobile operators, including Etisalat and STC, to protect their customers and reputation by safeguarding their services and infrastructure. AdaptiveMobile's Policy Control Framework provides protection against illegal and inappropriate content, mobile viruses and malware, and unsolicited or unauthorised communications. It works across all mobile services, all forms of access and for all media including mobile internet, text, images, music, voice and video.
Datacraft Asia, which is a subsidiary of the Dimension Data group, will integrate the AdaptiveMobile Policy Control Framework into its Secure Mobility Framework Solution. Datacraft has developed industry leading solutions to address the growing threat of mobile security and are enabling the operators to deliver value add services to their subscribers. It will assign dedicated sales and resources teams to sell and deploy the complete range of AdaptiveMobile solutions and provide training to staff at its Global Services Centre in Bangalore, India, for post-sales support.
Commenting on this update, Lorcan Burke, CEO of AdaptiveMobile, said "In terms of mobile security vulnerabilities, mobile users in the Asia-Pacific region are some of the worst affected in the world, with many users receiving up to ten mobile spam messages a day. The Datacraft partnership agreement is therefore very important, as it will further enable us to extend the reach in this key market and receive the support of one of the most experienced and reputable IT Solutions providers in Asia."
