Tech Mahindra, India’s fifth biggest IT benefits firm, is very enthusiastic about the Nordic locale as it sacked two arrangements from driving players from Finland and Norway. In both the arrangements Tech Mahindra will assume control over the representatives from these organizations on board.
The primary arrangement sacked by Tech Mahindra is a five-year deal from Finland’s biggest retail player Stockmann. Under the agreement Tech Mahindra will collaborate with the Finland-based firm to deliver some portion of Stockmann’s Information and Communications Technology (ICT) administration.
Which this arrangement Stockmann will consolidate the maintenance and development of business application and infrastructure as well which is currently offered by more than 20 service providers. As mentioned before Stockmann’s current ICT employees are will be transferred to Tech Mahindra campus on board. The size of the deal not disclosed as such.
Second deal that Tech Mahindra added to its kitty was an end-to-end cloud services deal from Nortura which is agricultural cooperative firm from Norway. As a similar setting in other deal Tech Mahindra will get Nortura employees on board and manage their data centre infrastructure fully. Currently a number of 20 employees have been decided for the same.
Rajesh Chandiramani, Head of Enterprise Business – Continental Europe & British Telecom Engagement, Tech Mahindra mentioned that at present the Nordics regions is witnessing a second or third wave of outsourcing. He also added that many of these organizations are working with Indian IT players for the very first time. In future interesting partnerships are expected from this region.
