Future group joins hands with Cognizant to transform its FMCG arm


IT major Cognizant has gone into a vital partnership with Kishore Biyani-driven Future Group to transform its FMCG arm Future Consumer Ltd (FCL) into a connected enterprise.

Under the agreement, the New Jersey-based firm will construct a platform for FCL to improve, computerize and secure business process, accelerate cooperation and boost collaborations over all lines of business, the organizations said in a joint explanation.

The platfrom will empower FCL to enhance its inventory network and enhance business throughput, it included.
The statement also stated “It will also help FCL harness digital technologies, including mobile and data analytics, for real-time performance and operational insights to accelerate decision-making, innovation and time-to-market,”
FCL CEO, Manufacturing and Supply Chain, Saurabh Lal said that this activity is a key to their emphasis on enhancing operational productivity and business nimbleness to adjust to the changing needs of todays carefully engaged clients.

Cognizent Senior Vice President and Global Leader of Enterprise Application Services Rajesh Balaji Ramachandran said: By joining the worldwide industry experience with their knowledge of SAP S/4 Hana innovation, they anticipate help FCL will move towards turning into another new age computerized endeavor driven by ceaseless advancement.
